Walter, having left Detroit in 1983 I have been blessed to live a full life here in Dublin. To consider that you spent those 2 1/2 decades in the Mi. penal system is absolutely desperate. I am acquainted with a person who could possibly arrange to speak with the Lions if you are thinking of working in Detroit. Maybe we can have lunch when you make it to these shores. Regards, Edward Stevenson

Walter, I am so thrilled that you can finally rebuild the life that was taken from you so unjustly 26 years ago. You have taught me more than you will ever know through your strength, courage, and thoughtfulness. You are truly an inspiration to everyone on your Innocence Project team.

Thank you , one and all for your heart feltcompassion and support. It's remarkable human beings like you that stems the tide of resentment within my soul . With such loving support from so many beautiful humanitarians , the road to renewed vigor for life is made so much smoother. You all inspire me to reach for great things. My love and respect for humanity extends to each and every one of you.

Hi Walter, friends and family It was a pleasure to meet all of you in Detroit a few weeks ago. Walter is such a wonderful person and it was an honor to work on securing his freedom this year at the Innocence Project. I wish you all the health and happiness in the world. P.S. Hi Niamh and everyone in Ireland.

Congratulations Walter. I can not even attempt to say I know how you feel. You are an inspiration to so many people. I hope and pray that some day you will be compensated for all the time you spent erroneously locked. I know nothing can make up for the time you lost. Just embrace each day and appreciate your loved ones and those who stood behind you. may the creator bless you and your family forever. peace johnny pabami

THANK YOU , from Walter's family . I'm sure if Walter himself knew how to use a PC he would leave many thanks on this board. Especially to Niamh and all the wonderful people in Ireland. You still have'nt heard the last of him yet he'll be a little computer freindly sooner than later if for nothing else, to respond to all the support filled messages.

Walter, you truly are a remarkable person. I am privileged to have worked on your file and blessed to know you and call you my friend. The American Justice system snapped you 26 years ago from your happy life. I hope you will achieve all the great things that you are destined to do, you deserve it. I am so happy that this day has come. Enjoy everyone treating you like a person and not a number. I can't wait for your visit to Cork and to celebrate your release with all your Irish friends who are overwhelmed by your intelligence, understanding, forgiveness and acceptance of your journey. Walter, you are truly extraordinary. Your dear friend, Niamh
