Your story is amazing, we have been hearing about you since Niamh started with the Innocence Project as a trainee all those years ago. It is heart warming to hear you speak with such optimism and positivity for your future. We are delighted for you and so proud of our very good and dear friend Niamh who campaigned relentlessly to set you free. Well done to both of you! Sarah, Dungarvan.

Walter, I have been following your story with interest over the last few weeks. It is a fascinating story with plenty of emotions, but central to it all is hope. I wish you the very best for your future, enjoy...

I would just like to thank all the wonderful and supportive citizens of the beautiful land of Ireland. I would also like to say that without your loving support and unending commpassion that the ordeal that I had to face for 26 years would most certainly have left me quite numb, you are all responsible for the happiness that has come into my life. For that I will forever be in your debt. I love you all. Thank you.

Hi Walter,
Congratulations on coming through your ordeal with such dignity and humility. Hearing you speak on Irish radio was inspirational and backed up all the great things Niamh has been saying about you. We know you will have a great time in Ireland. Wish we could be there to meet you in person.

Dear Walter, they say things happen for a particular reason although I cannot imagine the logic of this sentence in your case. I only know that sometimes good and nice people suffer terrible circumstances and I try to believe that by the end of the day we all find our inner peace!

Congratulations and best of luck to you. I recently had to deal with my father going to prison for a crime he did not commit and he also got a sentence of 50 years I am fighting for him as we speak but i need help and guidance I have no idea where to turn, after many attorneys turning their backs and just taking our money I am lost on what to do next. I am the only one able to keep fighting for him. We are now out of money and stuck with a court appointed attorney to file the appeal. So all I can do now is pray.
How did you and your family keep fighting? How did you stay postive? I need all the prayers and guidance as possible.
Good luck to you in the future and congrats on your release.
